Foodie.

Breast milk is a'ight, but my parents have been holding out on me! Solid food is the bomb.com. Since about Christmas, I've been enjoying cereal. BUT, an introduction to veggies has opened my young eyes to the world of food. I am pitching my own Food Network series: "Baby Foodie." I plan on chronicling baby foods from around the world. The fresh, the processed, the organic and so forth. First episode will feature my favorites: homemade green beans, organic peas and homemade squash!

Here are some shots of one of my early feedings. Since then, I have grown and developed table etiquette. I will post pictures of that soon.

5. 5 months. 5 months old!

In my car seat, dressed like a little sailor.
Note pea coat, striped tee and beanie.

Everyone wants to sleep with Mommy.

I fell asleep on my jumperoo.

Rouge or natural?
"Maybe she's born with it, maybe it's Maybeline!"

Smiles.

Mischievous look.

With Mommy in my winter fur cap.

Mom is still behind with this blogging stuff. So, I am updating you on my 5th month in a short pictorial format. It was a wicked month that included many milestones:

1. An eczema diagnosis that ALMOST ended my modeling career before it started
2. A tooth that enhanced my portfolio, thus saving my modeling career
3. Introduction to veggies, including green beans & peas
4. Learning to roll from tummy to back, which was an enormous relief as I HATE BELLY TIME

Goodbye 2009.

Happy New Year? What about farewell sweet 2009? Who are we kidding!! 2009 was a HUGE year. It was the year I was born, doi. Needless to say I am having a hard time saying 'good bye.' Mommy and Daddy captured my distress. Luckily, they explained that apparently people celebrate your birth EVERY year of your life. Nice....

Merry Christmas.

Here I am with Grandpa. I'm glowing...like an angel!
Actually, Mom had the lighting all wrong.

Chillin' in my Bumbo with Aunt Anne and Aunt Meredith.

Buried in a mountain of presents!

Checking out some sweet toys.
Please, note my reindeer feet. So hot this season.

Because I am so popular, I had another first Christmas! I totally scored in the gift department. But don't worry, I totally get the reason for the season. I just can't help but relish my goods. Enjoy some snap shots.

Feliz Navidad.

Here I am with Abuela unveiling my stocking goodies.
Yes, that is a pet schnauzer on my lap, just like my Maisie!
Please excuse my boogies....I was sick. Lay off.

Here are the two dogs...or is it one dog? Freaky huh?
You can tell they love each other either way.

Christmas was my 4th month birthday.
No better way than to celebrate with CAKE. Oh, wait....it's just rice cereal.

Mommy, my dolly and me!

This Christmas, my first, was spent snowed in with my Abuelo, Abuela, Tio Carlos and Titi Sassy (the dog). Here are some of the highlights.

Welcome Back.

Here I am on my laptop. It's no MAC, but it does the job.

O-to the M-to the G, Mommy is like the slowest blogger on earth. She keeps using work as an excuse. Pa-leeese! Last I checked (this morning), she spends 9 hours at work...what about the remaining 16 hours? Yeah, I do math. Yeah, I'm 4.9 months old. What?

So I'm taking this blogging into my own hands to catch Mommy up. Hopefully, she'll be able to handle it from there. But, surprisingly, though my math skills are stellar, my fine motor skills still need some work. I tried recruiting my dog to help, but she was useless! Her excuse....no thumb. Pa-leeese! Anyways, I'll be mainly updating you all with photos and captions.

Mommy I'm Sick!

So mad!

Hold me Daddy!

Daddy, my nebulizer mask and I. Best Friends.

Poor little Isabella was a sick baby this, her first, Christmas. Thanks to a little guy at her baby school who refused to take sick day, she and every other classmate contracted RSV. And as if that wasn't enough, her symptoms developed into a wicked case of bronchiolitis. After futile attempts to treat her with saline solution and chest rubs, we took her to the doctor. She now gets to use a nebulizer with some asthma medication to combat the mucous and narrowed airways. Poor biscuit has been one pissed off diva! Since returning to school (after snow days, holidays and sick days), Isabella has been resisting the urge to punch "Sicky" in the face. I told to make sure she does it when no one's looking...and use a scapegoat.

(NOTE: Isabella like everyone to know she would never actually use violence to combat frustration! She actually really loves all her little buddies at school. She reiterates, she is a lover not a fighter. How cliche!)
